We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy distribution center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in our Logistics operations, ensuring that products are accurately selected and prepared for shipment to our valued customers. This role involves navigating the warehouse, locating specific items, and confirming orders using advanced scanning technology. Accuracy, speed, and a dedication to Safety are paramount in this position. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory and contributing to the overall efficiency of our fulfillment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order slips and system data.
- Consolidate picked items and prepare them for the next stage of the fulfillment process.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or stock rotation issues.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ensure adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet established productivity standards for order picking.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
Previous experience in a similar warehouse role, particularly as an Order Picker or in inventory control, is highly desirable. The ability to handle frequent Lifting and to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential. You should be comfortable with technology, including scanners and warehouse management systems. A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety are required.
