We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Associates in Columbus, Ohio. As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to the daily operations of our distribution center, performing a variety of tasks to ensure efficient workflow and inventory accuracy. This role encompasses duties such as receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. You will work in a fast-paced logistics environment, utilizing equipment and technology to manage inventory and fulfill customer demands. A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and attention to detail is essential for success in this position. Your dedication will help us maintain high standards of service and operational excellence in our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure accurate labeling.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks of up to 40 pounds as needed.
Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus but not required. Ability to follow instructions and work with a team. Basic math and reading skills. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Strong attention to detail. A commitment to safety in all logistics operations is mandatory.
