We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods, contributing to the overall smooth operation of our distribution center. This role requires a high degree of precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will be expected to perform pre-operation inspections, maintain equipment, and adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding warehouse operations and equipment usage. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to pick and place pallets in racking systems.
- Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on reach truck and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
- Be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Reach Truck Operator.
- Valid reach truck operator certification or ability to obtain one.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
