As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from designated areas, and assisting with inventory management. Your primary focus will be on efficiency, accuracy, and, above all, safety. We maintain rigorous safety standards, and all team members must strictly adhere to them, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical strength and stamina, as you will be involved in frequent lifting and maneuvering of materials, with loads potentially reaching up to 60 lbs. Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Operate powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, and vests.
- Perform lifting duties that may involve weights up to 60 lbs.
- Support the overall logistics and distribution process.
