Our Boise, Idaho facility is looking for an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our logistics operations. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders promptly. This position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or electronic scanners.
- Verify item codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or shipping areas.
- Operate order picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management tasks.
- Follow all instructions carefully to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to perform sustained physical work, including Lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient logistics environment.
