Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Chicago, Illinois! This dynamic role involves a variety of responsibilities essential to our logistics operations, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping products, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, and committed to workplace safety. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the efficient movement of goods and ensuring timely order fulfillment for our customers. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, and a willingness to learn and adapt to different warehouse duties. We prioritize a safe work environment, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE, is non-negotiable. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are highly valued. Your efforts directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service in the logistics industry. Experience with manual pallet jacks and order pickers is a plus. We are dedicated to fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere for all associates.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Follow all established safety protocols and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE.
- Contribute to team goals and overall warehouse efficiency.
- Support logistics operations as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must wear and maintain appropriate PPE.
