We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our Indianapolis, Indiana team. This role is critical for the smooth flow of materials within our warehouse. You will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, moving inventory, and ensuring items are stored correctly. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses strong organizational skills, and is committed to workplace Safety . This position is a key element in our Logistics operations. You will have the opportunity to work with various types of materials and equipment, with comprehensive training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and document incoming materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move inventory to and from storage locations.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse areas.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and utilize required PPE .
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred. Ability to perform substantial Lifting (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis. Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities. A strong commitment to safety is essential. Good communication and teamwork skills.
