As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving items from warehouse shelves and packaging them securely. Your precision and speed directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll be instrumental in getting products to our customers promptly. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities include accurately identifying and retrieving specified items from inventory using scanning devices or order sheets. You will then carefully package these items, ensuring they are protected during transit and meet shipping requirements. This role also involves maintaining an organized workstation and contributing to the overall cleanliness of the warehouse. The ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively is essential. Occasional lifting of items up to 40 pounds might be required. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency will make a significant impact on our daily operations and the success of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during shipping.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Assist with inventory management and stock counts as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, standing environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics operations.
