Join our growing team in Boise, Idaho as an Inventory Control Specialist! This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, supporting seamless Logistics operations. You'll be responsible for executing precise inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining our inventory management system. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to operational efficiency and supply chain excellence. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure all inventory movements are logged correctly and efficiently. Adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE ) is non-negotiable. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed cycle counts and physical inventory assessments.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Manage stock rotation processes to optimize product availability and minimize waste.
- Prepare comprehensive inventory reports and provide insights for management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient material flow throughout the warehouse.
- Assist in the training of team members on inventory control best practices.
- Maintain organized and accessible inventory storage locations.
- Uphold strict Safety standards, including the use of required PPE .
- Operate standard warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Capability of Lifting up to 40 lbs is required.
- Understanding of supply chain principles and warehouse Logistics is beneficial.
