Join our bustling logistics operation in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Receiving Clerk! We are looking for organized and efficient individuals to manage the inbound flow of goods into our warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments. Your duties will include verifying quantities against purchase orders, identifying damaged goods, and accurately entering receiving data into our system. A keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential for maintaining inventory integrity. We are committed to a culture of Safety, and you will be trained on all safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position may involve moderate Lifting, so physical stamina is required. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure a seamless transition of goods from receipt to put-away. Be a vital part of our logistics chain and contribute to our overall efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a critical warehouse function.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify against shipping documents.
- Accurately record received items in the inventory management system.
- Identify and report discrepancies or damages.
- Prepare receiving reports and related documentation.
- Stage received goods for put-away.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Must be capable of moderate Lifting as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
