Join our vibrant logistics team as a Material Handler in Los Angeles, California! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to support the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and staging materials and products throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, operating manual pallet jacks, and assisting with various other warehouse tasks. Your role is crucial in ensuring that materials are in the right place at the right time, contributing to seamless operations. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and you will be trained on all safety procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the ability to perform consistent and substantial Lifting, often involving heavy items. Attention to detail and a proactive attitude are key to success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Move materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Stage materials for shipping and receiving.
- Assist with inventory counts and location verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Must be comfortable with frequent and heavy Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform Lifting duties.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and teamwork.
