In this position, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This involves using handheld scanners, confirming order details, and ensuring items are packaged securely and correctly. Your efficiency and accuracy are vital to our customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in our supply chain, ensuring that orders are processed quickly and without errors. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order tickets.
- Scan items to ensure correct quantity and product selection.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Report any inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE, including gloves and safety shoes.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking/packing or warehouse roles is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Capability for Lifting and moving packages up to 30 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic inventory and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
