We have an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator at our San Francisco, California facility. This role is vital for the efficient handling and movement of goods within our logistics network. As a Forklift Operator, you will expertly maneuver forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist in maintaining an organized warehouse layout. Safety is paramount in this position; therefore, a thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures and a commitment to best practices are essential. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your role directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational flow. You will be responsible for performing daily equipment checks to ensure safe operation and reporting any maintenance needs. The ability to work collaboratively with the warehouse team and follow instructions precisely is key. Mandatory adherence to all Safety guidelines and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are strictly enforced. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers efficiently.
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain clear aisles.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report issues.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures meticulously.
- Wear required PPE at all times while on the job.
- Assist with other warehouse operations as needed, such as order picking or packing.
