As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving goods within the facility, and organizing stock. A proven track record of safe operation, adherence to safety standards, and a strong understanding of warehouse logistics are required. This position demands precision, efficiency, and the ability to work diligently in a demanding setting. You will be expected to perform routine maintenance checks on your forklift and report any operational issues promptly. The role requires excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to navigate tight spaces safely. Wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and products.
- Safely stack and unstack products and pallets.
- Transport goods from receiving to storage areas and to shipping docks.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all Safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and record-keeping as needed.
