Join our fast-paced logistics operation in Indianapolis, Indiana as an Inventory Clerk. This critical role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies to ensure the integrity of our warehouse stock. You will be instrumental in managing our inventory system, supporting efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong analytical skills. You will work closely with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, to resolve inventory issues promptly. A commitment to safety and adherence to warehouse procedures are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Generate inventory reports and analyze stock levels.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inventory items.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize provided PPE.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Be prepared for lifting up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations.
