Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and order pickers, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and assist in keeping the warehouse tidy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Meet established productivity goals for order picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Support the logistics team in ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read order sheets and identify product codes.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including frequent bending, reaching, and Lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and logistics.
