Job Summary:
We are actively recruiting an Order Picker for our modern distribution center in Detroit, Michigan. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by accurately selecting and preparing customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to navigate the warehouse efficiently, using scanning technology to locate and gather products. Precision and speed are key to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will contribute to maintaining high inventory accuracy and supporting our commitment to excellent customer service. Accurately pick items from warehouse stock using electronic pick lists and scanners.
Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your picking area.
Report any inventory discrepancies or damages immediately.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures diligently, including the use of required PPE.

Candidates should have a strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the physical capability to perform tasks including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. The ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended durations is necessary. Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse capacity is preferred.
