Join our busy warehouse in Dallas, Texas, as an Order Picker! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders. In this role, you will navigate the warehouse to retrieve specified items from inventory, ensuring that orders are accurate in quantity and type. Your efficiency and precision are critical to our logistics chain and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for preparing picked items for the next stage of the fulfillment process. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is required. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive pay and a supportive team atmosphere.Responsibilities:
- Locate and pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use RF scanners or other devices to track picked items and update inventory.
- Consolidate picked items and prepare them for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and picking area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting practices and the correct use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to management.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks such as stocking or put-away as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order forms.
- Good basic math skills for counting and verification.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive bending and reaching.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must comply with all safety regulations and wear assigned PPE.
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
