You will perform regular cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and implement measures to prevent future errors. This position requires a meticulous approach, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of inventory management principles within a logistics environment. We are dedicated to a safe workplace, so adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is non-negotiable. While this role may involve some light lifting, the primary focus is on data accuracy and process control. We are looking for proactive individuals who can identify issues, propose solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our inventory systems. Key responsibilities include conducting cycle counts, reconciling inventory records, identifying root causes of discrepancies, and assisting with physical inventory counts. You will work closely with warehouse operations and management to ensure optimal inventory levels and flow. Your attention to detail is paramount to ensuring the reliability of our inventory data, which is essential for smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and proper PPE usage.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of WMS and inventory management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform light lifting as needed.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and safety procedures, including PPE.
