Join our growing logistics team in Richmond, Virginia, as an Order Picker! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to efficiently pick and stage products for our customers. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in our fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and speed in retrieving items from our warehouse shelves. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to fulfill customer orders by accurately locating and selecting the correct items and quantities. We emphasize a safe working environment, and all team members are required to adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves frequent movement throughout the warehouse, including considerable walking and lifting. A basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. We seek individuals who are punctual, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Daily tasks include reading order sheets, using scanning equipment, verifying product information, and preparing items for the next stage of the fulfillment process. Contributing to a smooth and efficient logistics operation is key to this role's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities for accuracy.
- Stage picked items in the designated packing or shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse environments.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct PPE utilization.
