Join our thriving logistics operation in Austin, Texas as an Order Picker. We are looking for dedicated individuals to help us meet the growing demands of our e-commerce fulfillment center. In this role, you will be the backbone of our order fulfillment process, meticulously selecting products from various locations within our expansive warehouse. Your accuracy and speed directly impact customer satisfaction and our overall operational efficiency. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the physical stamina to navigate a large warehouse space throughout your shift. You will be part of a supportive team environment where collaboration and efficiency are highly valued. This role involves substantial lifting and moving of goods, so physical fitness is a requirement. Understanding of basic logistics principles will be beneficial. Regular tasks include reading pick tickets, locating items, scanning barcodes, and staging orders for packing and shipping. Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Ensure accuracy in product identification and quantity selection.
- Transport picked items to designated staging areas.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Comply with all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a standing and walking environment for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and logistics.
- Team player with good communication skills.
