We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates for our facility in Portland, Oregon. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be involved in all facets of warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using scanning devices and follow pick paths.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Receive and verify incoming inventory against manifests.
- Organize and replenish stock within the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Perform general warehouse duties to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing the required PPE and following safe lifting procedures.
- Participate in inventory control activities and audits.
- Support overall logistics efficiency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and WMS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
- Dedication to workplace safety, including the consistent use of PPE and adherence to safe lifting techniques.
