We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join our San Francisco, California warehouse team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will play a key part in our logistics operations, ensuring materials are moved accurately and safely throughout the facility. Maintaining a secure working environment is paramount, and all operators must strictly follow safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE. This position demands a high level of responsibility and a keen eye for operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Stack and retrieve products from high shelves and racks.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating systems.
- Adhere to all logistics safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition, capable of prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
