Responsibilities
Managing the full sales process, from web inquiry to phone and showroom interactions.
Managing staff performance, from structured 1:1 sessions to training and development.
Implementing department targets and brand KPIs.
Responsible for buying in vehicles, including up‑to‑date stock pricing.
Ensuring full FCA compliance within the Sales Department.
Managing customer satisfaction and driving a customer‑centric culture.
Qualifications & Experience
Prior experience in a similar automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
Demonstrated experience in leading a highly motivated team and getting the best out of each team member.
Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and the ability to identify and address any shortfalls promptly.
Ability to understand finance and insurance product regulations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate a sale.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Salary and Hours £49,181 per year (estimated) – Permanent, New. Eastbourne Mercedes‑Benz: Contract Type: Permanent, Salary up to £80,000 OTE (basic plus bonus). Hours: 44 per week – Mon to Fri 9:00am to 6:00pm (one late finish to 7pm and a day off mid‑week), Sat 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sun 11:00am to 3:00pm (rota basis).
