Our Washington, D.C. fulfillment center is seeking a proactive Fulfillment Associate to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently processed, packed, and shipped. You will handle a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics network. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, emphasizing teamwork and attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce logistics and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and dedicated to maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for various carriers, applying correct labels and documentation.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and utilize required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of order fulfillment processes within logistics.
- Strong commitment to Safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
