Join our busy warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, verifying order details, and ensuring that products are packed correctly and efficiently for shipment. Your contribution is essential to our logistics chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order slips or scanner data.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean workspace.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Meet established picking and packing productivity standards.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team or independently.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
- Good communication skills.
