We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is essential for our **logistics** operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. The Order Picker will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for packing and shipment, and maintaining an organized work environment. A strong emphasis is placed on **safety** and the correct use of **PPE**. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess the physical stamina required for the job. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders or pick tickets.
- Use RF scanners or other devices to locate and track inventory.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safety**-conscious work area.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company policies and **safety** regulations.
- Wear and properly utilize all assigned **PPE**.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability of **lifting** up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** is a plus.
- Strong commitment to workplace **safety**.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
