Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming freight.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately document and report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Stage inventory for put-away or distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external carriers.
- Follow all company **safety** procedures and guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Proficiency with computers and data entry.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents.
- Experience with WMS software is a plus.
- Must be able to handle **lifting** up to 40 pounds.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and use of **PPE**.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
