We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team in Dallas, Texas! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory and carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all employees must strictly adhere to safety procedures and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing, and lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Verify picked items against order forms to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good manual dexterity and organizational skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
