This key role involves managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory control, and coordinating the movement of goods to support our logistics network. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, optimizing workflows, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management and a strong understanding of logistics principles. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving lifting and maneuvering of materials, up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage and train warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments and external logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Handle tasks involving regular lifting and movement of materials.
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks as needed.
