Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage our busy logistics facility in Los Angeles, California. This critical role involves overseeing all warehouse functions, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, staff supervision, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety protocols, ensuring the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and fostering a secure working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of modern logistics principles. Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management is essential. This is a demanding yet rewarding position for an individual dedicated to operational excellence and team development. Your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain and the achievement of our business objectives. Responsibilities include optimizing workflow, managing a team, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and coordinating with transport partners. A commitment to continuous improvement in all areas of warehouse logistics is expected.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct daily warehouse operations and staff.
  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems.
  • Manage shipping and receiving schedules and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Train and develop warehouse personnel.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum productivity.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors/carriers.
  • Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of warehouse activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate operational reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or coordination.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
