We are expanding our team in Jacksonville, Florida, and seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and effectively moving, loading, unloading, and stacking materials within our facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring timely order fulfillment, forming a key part of our logistics network. You will perform daily inspections of your forklift, maintain accurate records of movements, and adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses excellent spatial awareness, and is committed to maintaining a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues. This position involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times. Experience with various types of forklifts and a valid certification are required. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Conduct pre-operation checks and maintain forklift equipment.
- Ensure safe stacking and storage of inventory.
- Keep accurate records of material movements.
- Follow all Safety rules and company policies.
- Wear required PPE diligently.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and experience.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Experience in a Logistics environment is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and reliability.
