Join our growing logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a skilled Forklift Operator. This role is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport materials to designated areas, and support various warehouse operations. Safety is our top priority, and as a Forklift Operator, you will be expected to adhere to all Safety protocols and operate equipment with precision and care. Your attention to detail will ensure that inventory is handled correctly and that our operations run smoothly. This position requires a responsible individual who can work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and unstack palletized materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory between different areas of the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Follow all warehouse Safety rules and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Accurate record-keeping of material movements.
- Must be comfortable with Lifting and maneuvering various types of inventory.
Qualifications:
Certified Forklift Operator with verifiable experience. Knowledge of OSHA Safety standards related to forklift operation. Ability to operate various types of forklifts. Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and material flow. Physical stamina to perform tasks involving Lifting and standing for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to Safety. Good communication and teamwork skills. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency.
