Are you a swift and accurate Order Picker looking for a dynamic role in San Diego, California? We are hiring dedicated individuals to join our warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact our customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our logistics operations. You will use scanning equipment and follow pick lists to ensure the correct items and quantities are selected. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to accuracy and safety. Join us and be a key player in getting products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order sheets and scanners.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity goals.
- Contribute to overall team success in the warehouse logistics process.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, bending, and frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
