In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and attention to detail are paramount to ensuring timely and correct deliveries, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance efficiency and Safety.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking as directed.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets and support overall logistics operations.
- Contribute to a positive and productive warehouse atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Capability of moderate Lifting, typically up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
