Über
Little & Cull are a BRC Accredited leading supplier of premium chilled, frozen and prepared foods. We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical / mechanical background to support the Maintenance Manager with all maintenance requirements across both of our sites.
*We are looking for someone with;*
* Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment that uses depositors, in line thermal formers and various other equipment
* Knowledge of refrigeration systems is also beneficial
* Good organisational skills
* The ability to communicate efficiently with contractors to organise machinery repairs
* The ability to be logical and analytical
* A willingness to complete all maintenance tasks however minor
* The ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels across the business
* Experience with steam generating boilers would be beneficial
*When you join the team you’ll be ready to work in a fast paced environment that involves responsibility for;*
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance of food processing equipment
* Maintaining and administrating a schedule of continuous planned maintenance across both sites
* Undertaking planned and preventative maintenance activities
* Assisting in resolving breakdowns
* Maintaining and repairing minor issues with refrigeration and extraction systems
* Liaising with contractors for machinery repairs
* Assisting in further development and improvement of maintenance and engineering procedures.
* Supporting and assisting as required with general site maintenance tasks such as building furniture, building/site repairs etc
* Supporting the business out of normal working hours on an on call rota (one on two off). On call payment and overtime rates apply.

*Hours – *42.5 hours per week over 5 days Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm OR 8am – 5pm
*Salary -* £40,000 plus £225 p/m (£2700 annually) on call payment (£42700 per annum plus overtime).
