Now Hiring: Dog Bus Driver / Pack Leader

Ruff and Puff is looking for a reliable and dog-savvy driver to join our team. If you've spotted the dog bus around Calgary or seen us online (1.5M followers and counting), you know what we're about — professional, fun, safe off-leash adventures for pups.

We need someone responsible, creative, and confident handling a large group of dogs and has awesome customer service skills. Professional dog-handling experience (minimum 2 years) is required — ideally in walking, daycare, training, or rescue work.

We operate currently only in South Calgary**

What You'll Do

  • Safely drive one of the Ruff and Puff bus to pick up and drop off dogs.
  • Load and unload dogs calmly and with care.
  • Supervise and manage group play at our private park.
  • Handle behavioural issues as they come up.
  • Use your phone to check dogs in/out, complete report cards, and snap photos.
  • Assist with creating fun content for our social channels.w
  • Keep the bus and park clean.

Must-Haves

  • 2+ years of professional dog-handling experience (training, daycare, walking, rescue, etc.).
  • Valid Class 5 license (Class 4 is a plus).
  • 3 years + of driving insurance history
  • Clean driving record and confident driving a short school bus (training provided).
  • Exceptional communicating with clients and representing the business professionally.
  • Legal to work in Canada and fluent in English.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Pet First Aid.
  • Dog training certifications.
  • Experience creating social media posts or stories.

Hours

  • Start part-time (12–20 hrs/week) during training first couple weeks
  • Move into full-time (30–40 hrs/week).
  • Monday–Friday schedule

Pay

  • $23/hr starting, up to $25/hr with training and experience.
