Job ProfileThe Talent Acquisition Advisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization's talent acquisition strategy by ensuring a seamless recruitment process and exceptional candidate experience. This position collaborates with hiring managers and HR leadership to attract, engage, and secure top talent while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. This role operates in a dynamic environment, requiring a proactive and adaptable professional who can manage competing priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of service to stakeholders.
What you will be doing- Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Coordinate all aspects of the recruitment process, including posting roles, scheduling interviews, and facilitating candidate communications.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of applicant tracking systems to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
- Facilitate pre-employment processes, including background checks and offer letter preparation.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with legal and organizational standards while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and analytics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
- Act as a key point of contact for candidates, fostering a positive employer brand throughout the hiring process.
- Stay informed of market trends, best practices, and innovations in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP designation is preferred.
Experience and Knowledge- Three to four years of demonstrated experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a focus on coordination and process improvement.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HR technologies (SAP/SuccessFactors).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and DEI principles.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements.
Valid G driver's license.
Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training certificate from the Ministry of Labour. (may be obtained post offer)
Proof of your current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications.
Your compensationThe hourly salary range for this non-union position is $47.67 to $58.13 (Band Level 4).
Hours of workMonday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
