Job Summary:
Join our innovative team in St. Louis, Missouri, as a Warehouse Technician! We are looking for a skilled individual to maintain and operate our warehouse equipment and ensure the smooth running of our logistics operations. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of machinery and systems within the warehouse. Safety is a top priority; you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and safely, and that all personnel are aware of and adhere to safety protocols, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of equipment performance. Experience with various types of warehouse machinery and a solid grasp of logistics principles are essential. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor systems, pallet jacks).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Operate various types of warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment status.
  • Ensure all personnel are trained on safe equipment operation and the use of PPE.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment.
  • Contribute to optimizing warehouse logistics and operational flow through equipment performance.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support the logistics team in achieving operational goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or electrical systems is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic understanding of logistics operations.
