Our busy distribution center in Denver, Colorado is seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. You will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout the warehouse. You will be handling a variety of products, so attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. Your responsibilities will include performing daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift, maintaining accurate records of inventory movement, and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are required to wear appropriate PPE at all times. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that requires a commitment to Safety and efficiency. Experience with various types of forklifts is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Experience in a Logistics environment preferred.
