We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our busy distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This is a vital role in our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving to shipping. You will operate various types of forklifts and other material handling equipment. Safety is our top priority, and all operators must strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and forklift operation best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable with lifting requirements and have the stamina to perform physical tasks when needed. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining a high standard of performance. Training and certification updates will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Stack and retrieve materials from storage areas.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
