Our state-of-the-art facility in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage the influx of goods into our warehouse. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all items are accurately documented, inspected, and processed efficiently. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting the smooth operation of our Logistics network. You will work closely with delivery drivers and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies and ensure timely processing. Attention to detail and a commitment to Safety are paramount. Key duties include:
- Unloading incoming freight from trucks and trailers.
- Verifying received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspecting all incoming products for damage or defects.
- Documenting any discrepancies and reporting them to the relevant departments.
- Accurately entering received goods into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Organizing and staging received items for put-away or further processing.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free receiving area.
- Strict adherence to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Ensuring correct use of mandatory PPE , such as high-visibility vests and work gloves.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed, including shipping support.
