We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Worker for our facility in Durham, North Carolina. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of essential tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. This includes handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse. Your efforts are critical to our logistics network, ensuring that products move efficiently from storage to their final destination. You will be expected to operate various warehouse equipment, assist with inventory control, and contribute to a productive and safe working atmosphere. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to following established procedures. Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset are highly valued. Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Sort, organize, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Must be capable of consistent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable and punctual. Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting and standing. A strong emphasis on Safety is required. Understanding of basic logistics concepts is beneficial.
