Seeking an energetic Picker/Packer to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse inventory and meticulously preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are essential to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and promptly. This role is a critical component of our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods. We prioritize a safe working environment; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE and safe lifting practices, is mandatory. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, is highly organized, and possesses a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from shelves based on order slips.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipping, ensuring all information is correct.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment as trained.
- Maintain a clean and orderly packing station and work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE and safe lifting procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety and logistics best practices.
