We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Pickers/Packers in our San Antonio, Texas facility. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, picking them accurately according to order specifications, and packing them securely for transit. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to safety procedures and proper lifting techniques are paramount. Your daily tasks will involve operating hand trucks and other warehouse equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to all company policies and procedures. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques.
