We are seeking a dynamic Fulfillment Associate to join our expanding logistics team in Houston, Texas. This role is central to our daily operations, encompassing all stages of order processing, from receiving goods to shipping completed orders. As a Fulfillment Associate, you'll contribute to maintaining an efficient and accurate workflow, ensuring our customers receive their products in a timely manner. Understanding and applying proper handling techniques, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and contributing to overall warehouse efficiency are key components of this role. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory.
- Efficiently pick and pack customer orders, ensuring order accuracy and product integrity.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, with a strong focus on PPE usage.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support overall logistics goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the fulfillment operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment center is preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability for manual dexterity and moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with Safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics concepts.
