We are hiring a motivated Fulfillment Associate for our busy warehouse in Houston, Texas. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently from receipt to shipment. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and workstations.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is beneficial.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
