We are hiring a Principal Geotechnical Engineer for a full-service geotechnical firm that is operated by experienced professional engineers, geologists, field technicians, and special inspectors.
The staff of engineers, geologists, special inspectors and field technicians offers a wide variety of experience in geotechnical and civil engineering, environmental engineering, special inspection and testing, and materials engineering. The firm specializes in a wide variety of subjects and disciplines related to the earth sciences.
*About This Position*
The Principal Geotechnical Engineer will direct, review, and oversee small to large projects with several large national and private builders in the region. The successful candidate will mentor junior staff; provide leadership, maintain client relationships; assist in marketing/business development; provide ongoing training to engineering staff; provide direction and review of engineering work products; and review and sign geotechnical proposals and reports.
*Qualifications*
Licensure: State of California. Registered Professional Engineer in Geotechnical Engineering is required, no exceptions
*Required Skills:*
· 10 years of experience with a geotechnical consulting firm
· Strong worth ethic
· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
· Track record of successful client relationships and service are required
· Thorough understanding and knowledge of geotechnical engineering.
· Experience with construction and earthwork activities.
· Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, and excellent problem-solving skills
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
License/Certification:
* Professional Engineer in Geotechnical Engineering License? (Required)
