We are seeking a skilled and licensed Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical experience, including working with high and low voltage systems, schematics, and blueprint reading in a commercial construction environment.
Our firm is a commercial real estate development firm that specializes in adaptive reuse retail investments. While this position does include hands-on electrical work, the job primarily involves project management including budgeting, purchasing and overseeing the company's current and future projects. We are searching for an in-house "expert" who can provide value to the company by applying their extensive knowledge and experience to save the company both time and money as it relates to the electrical portion of our tenant improvement construction projects. A valid electrician license is required. Some travel will be required.
*Responsibilities*
* Review electrical plans provided by third-party MEP sources and implement any changes or modifications that may create efficiencies related to existing conditions or other factors such as timing and availability of parts, materials and equipment.
* Budget and source appropriate labor resources in order to meet project timelines and cost targets.
* Oversee workmanship of outsourced labor and ensure adherence to all codes and standards.
* Maintain a safe work environment by following all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
*Skills*
* Extensive experience with commercial electrical systems.
* Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation.
* Strong knowledge of NEC codes, high voltage (HV), low voltage (LV), and power distribution systems.
* Construction site experience is required.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
* Most importantly - know your trade, be honest and trustworthy, have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $1,500.00 per week
