London, £70K- £85K / Year This is a hands-on Design Manager role where you'll be trusted to lead from the front. You'll play a key role in de-risking projects early, spotting clashes, and keeping both pre-con and site teams aligned. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys responsibility, knows how to manage design across multiple work stages, and wants to be involved in meaningful, technically detailed projects. The Projects
Design & build and traditional contracts across the public and private sectors Education schemes (live schools and nursery extensions) Healthcare and community refurbishments New build residential and mixed-use schemes up to £8m Refurbishments in occupied buildings with tight access/logistics Mixture of local authority, housing association, and private clients Requirements
Solid experience as a Design Manager (or a Project Architect / Coordinator ready to step up) Strong technical knowledge able to interrogate drawings and push coordination Comfortable running design from Stage 2 to handover Experienced with both D&B and traditional forms of contract The Company
